Combined Sunken City Covers

And here’s how the two look together:

Sunken City Cover

Onward and upward! Now it’s time to finish the additional content, including a patron write up (with an assist from the awesome Iron Wolf), a concise bestiary, conversion notes for running the adventures at game stores or cons, funnel tips… and maybe a few magic items and adventure seeds thrown in.

The book will be 96 pages long… I’d better get working. Well, sleep first, then working. πŸ˜‰

Looks awesome, mate, and would said patron be the one I gave Jeff some editorial help with? πŸ˜‰

  2. Purple Sorcerer says:

And thanks for the kind words. πŸ™‚

How cool, I feel like I was involved in the making of some neat stuff. My character was nearly killed by the 30+ result on our wizard's Invoke Patron (Malloc) . I've never burned so much luck or made so many ability checks. Patricio grew to hate that evil tree god!

I've followed the party's exploits on twitter and G+, and it's been just as much fun in the other direction. πŸ™‚

It really is awesome to watch 'tales grow in the telling'.

  5. James says:

That's gonna look amazing in hardback! Will there be a PDF version of this as well, or are the extras hardback-exclusive?

  6. Purple Sorcerer says:

    Thanks James!

I haven't quite decided on individual distribution of the PDF yet. It will definitely come for free with purchases of the printed book, as we all love the convenience of being able to print certain parts out, especially the appendix stuff. And I think it's a 'must' to reward folks willing to fork over the printed book cost!

The Sunken City PDF will at some point replace the 'bundle' deal currently available, I'm just not sure if I want to delay its release to 'protect' the purchases of previous loyal customers, or just give them a small discount and go live immediately when the print version is available. πŸ™‚

  7. David Jenks says:

As a loyal previous purchaser, I vote the latter.

  8. Purple Sorcerer says:

Thanks for the feedback, oh loyal one!

  9. Dustin says:

As one half of the casting crew of the +30 Invoke Patron Malloc spell, I can say how incredibly awesome that write up is! Our group has loved playing in this area – it's a ton of fun and really fits the old school vibe, but with its own unique DCC feel as well. Looking forward to the Omnibus!

    Thanks Dustin. πŸ™‚
